Build a Community Education Campus

A community-powered effort to transform underused school space into a year-round hub for youth, learning, workforce development and opportunity.

Why This Matters

Across our communities, school closures are leaving valuable buildings empty — while families still need safe places for learning, mentorship, and enrichment.

We believe these spaces should become community assets, not liabilities.

This initiative brings nonprofit leaders together to create a permanent space for:

  • Youth enrichment + STEAM education

  • After-school and summer programs

  • Workforce readiness + mentorship

  • Family engagement + community events

  • Partner organizations serving local residents

Your support helps us:

  • Prepare buildings for safe public access

  • Cover startup costs (utilities, insurance, security)

  • Launch youth and community programming

  • Build long-term sustainability

Our goal:  Raise one year of operational readiness (~$100,000) so this campus can open responsibly and serve families long-term.
